Proper preparation is essential to achieving the best spray tan possible. Follow our guide to ensure a flawless tan.

Avoid using lotion, perfume, or deodorant on the day of your appointment. If tanning your face, do not wear makeup. Any personal care appointments such as massages, facials, nails, or waxing should be completed the day before a spray tan.

For best results, try to shave the day before your tanning appointment. If you forget, you can shave up to 4 hours before. After this time, it is best to wait until after the initial rinse.

Exfoliate the skin the day before your appointment. This will help to remove any dead skin cells and provide a clean canvas for your spray. We recommend using a body brush, exfoliating glove, or sugar scrub for best results.

All new clients are required to complete a consent form prior to their first spray tan appointment.

Spray tans can last anywhere form 7-10 days depending on the individual and the care taken to maintain the tan. These are our tips for extending your tans life as long as possible.

While your spray tan develops before the initial rinse, do not work out, come into contact with water (hand washing is fine), or do anything that would cause you to sweat. Be sure to wear lose fitting clothing while your tan develops.

The first shower post-spray tan shower will just be water, do not use soap. The purpose of this rinse is to remove the cosmetic bronzer and stop the processing of your tan. For subsequent showers you may use a clear shower gel. Be sure to use a soft dabbing motion when towel drying.

Keeping your skin hydrated is key to maintaining a spray tan. We recommend applying a body lotion daily to help maintain your tan. When swimming or using a hot tub, be sure to rinse of with fresh water immediately after.

How does mobile spray tanning work?

We come to you! We bring all of the equipment and products necessary to achieve your perfect glow.

The session will need to be in close proximity to an outlet and good lighting is preferred. Please note that the tanning tent is 7 ft tall with a base of 4x4 ft. Each individual will take about 15-20 minutes. Our machine makes a noise similar to a vacuum, please keep this in mind if you have small children or pets that are sensitive to noise! Spray tanning can feel cold due to the air and solution; if preferred, you may want to turn up the heat for a more comfortable experience.

I have an event, when should I schedule my spray tan?

It is best to have a spray tan 2 days before your special event or vacation. That way, your tan has time to process and you have sufficient time to rinse off the initial spray which includes cosmetic bronzer. This is also when your color will photograph the best!

Does a spray tan provide sun protection?

A spray tan does not provide any sun protection and is is still possible to burn while you have a tan. Wearing an SPF is always recommended.
